Back to Pangkor

Harlooo,
Been unemployed since March 26, decided to take a trip to pangkor with Phei Ching for a while.. Went on 30th March and came back on 1 April. Decided to drive tehre this time(couldn't bear sitting in the bus for 4 hours or more.
View from the car, it was quite a pleasant drive since we went on a weekday, roads were clear, skies were bright, only obstacles were all the heavey duty lorries we had to overtake to avoid going at 40km/h
This being the first time driving to Lumut, it was quite unerving at first, threading the small roads with the Avanza, had to think twice about overtaking since the Avanza's power to weight ratio's really bad..
3 and a half hours later, finally reach Pangkor, the Jetty has been done up quite nicely, they even have a digital signboard that tells you when the next ferry arrives. Was very relieved and excited to be back at Pangkor, it's been quite a while I think, 2 or 3 years.
First day's sunset..
And of course no Pangkor trip would be completed without a re-enactment of Calvin's past adventure.. or at least try to re-enact..

Woke up the second morning to find the beach filled with these stuff, seaweed, the whole coast line was filled with it, ankle thicka nd very mushy to step on..They're renovating the town abit, went back to the Mee Sua shop to buy Mee Sua. The surprising thing was they didn't have the green Mee Sua on display anymore.

Another view from the rocks..
Second day sunset..

Overall Pangkor's still a nice place to go, but the things there have gotten really expensive.. The Assam Fish was still the highlight of the trip, hehe
p/s: am about 5 shades darker than the picture above and starting to peel, haha

Hope everyone's doing well..
Take care
Shamus
