hehe, joined the Sun Hunt yesterday (3 November 2008), this was early in the morning, 7:30am, left the house at 6:30am.. The briefing was held at the Sime Darby convention centre, near the science centre(the Green Golf ball) haha, joined the treasure hunt with my sister and 2 relatives. 275 cars took part, 4 people per car, making that 1100 people. I told you guys about treasure hunt right? It's an event where you drive around with a maps(tulips) and answer cryptic questions with the shop names and signboards being the answer.
An example of a question, " One crazy money changer seen here" Crazy is an anagram prompter in this case to anagram the word "One", when you anagram/rearrange "one", you get a whole bunch of words, but the word I'm looking for is "Eon" Money changer is also a Bank.. hence the answer "Eon Bank" hehe, made this question a few months back.. got the approval from my dad.. haha, if you guys are interested, I'll post up more questions and explanations.. That's a question.. treasures are longer questions, things that we're suppose to buy and hand in.. Usually each question is 3 marks.. and each treasure 5.. Don't have a sample with me now, later lah k?
This was a KL hunt, went to Puchong first, got lost in abit in Bandar puteri, can still remember the address today, 5/3.. haha.. then the length of the LDP to Taman Tun.. and ended back to the Sime Darby Convention centre. Was really excited when I saw this photo the following day,showed the majority of my friends the photo and not surprisingly, the majority of them laughed.. haha
Oh yeah, for 275 cars, they gave out 150 prizes and out of 275 teams, I got 115.. the prize was 4 hairdryers.. 2 for my cousins, 1 each for my sister and I.. haha, gave the hairdryer to my elder sister straight away. The hunt was really fun, thinking of teaching people how to solve cryptic questions, then start a team.. but the thing is it takes a long while to get tuned into solving these kind of questions*hint hint*.. took me years! haha
